Power have already changed hands

The true rulers of the world are not so much the governments as the chairmen of financial institutions (IFM, World Bank, OECD, issuing banks) and world-wide compagnies.

And yet these leaders are not elected, despite of their decisions impact on everybody's life.

The power of these organisations is exerted on a planetary scale, while the power of states is restricted to a national scale.

Their influence in the world financial flows have exceeded the states one for a long time.

Here is a list of some multinational compagnies turnovers, compared with the GNP of some countries. It says a lot about the increasing planetary power of these conglomerates. Once it becomes natural for these groups to covet and gain their slice of political power, corresponding to their new strength.

2

The democracy illusion

The democracy has ceased to be a reality.

The chairmen of the organisations which hold the real power are not elected, and the public is not informed about their decisions.

The room for maneouvre of the nation-states is getting more and more restricted by economic international agreements about which people have never been neither consulted nor informed.

All these treaties, elaborated during the last five years (GATT, WTO, MAI) are directed at a single aim: the transfer of political power from states to non-elected organisations.

A violent takeover would have certainly caused a revolution. That is why it have been decided to keep the appearances of democracy, and shift the real power toward new centers.

The citizens are still voting, but their votes have been deprived of all meaning. They vote for leaders in charge of practically nothing.

And if the political programs from "right" and "left" are getting so similar, it's just because there is nothing to decide anymore.

To sum up, we don't have the choice the dish, but we are free to choose the sauce. The dish is called "new slavery", with right chilli sauce or left bitter-sweet sauce.

3

The removal of information news

Since the beginning of the 90's, the information news are progressively desappearing from great audience medias.

As for elections, the TV news still exist, but thet have been deprived of their meaningfull contents.

An average TV news bulletin contains a maximum of 2 or 3 minutes of real information. The rest is made of magazine subjects, anecdotal reports, short news items, interviews of the public, and reality-shows about ordinary life.

The editorials or analysis have almost completely been removed.

The information remains in newspapers, read by only a few people.

The removal of information is the tangible sign that our political system have already changed of nature.

Strategies and objectives for world control

The leaders of the economic power come from the same worlds, belong to the same social backgrounds. They know each others, meet themselves, share the same views and the same interests.

So they share the same vision of what the ideal future world should be.

Therefore it is natural for them to agree on a strategy and synchronize their respective actions toward common global objectives, inducting economic situations that are favourable for the fulfilment of their objectives:

Weakening of the gouvernments. Deregulation. Privatization of the public services.

Disengagement of states from the economy (including education or police, destined to become frofitable markets for private compagnies)

Maintaining of a hight level of unemployment, sustained by relocations and globalization. This increase the economic pressure on the salaried workers, who are then ready to accept any wages or working conditions.

Social aids cuts, to increase the motivation of the enemployed to accept any job at any wage. If the welfare benefits are too hight, they prevent the enemployment to put pressure efficiently on the labour market.
